Re: Pale Moon 28.7.1

Has nothing to do with the nation of india or bharat for that matter..it's a mohawk american indian term i believe in regard to hunting.

Not a term heard very often but the shipping companies use it still in regard to tonnage and the "plimsoll line.".

Re: Pale Moon 28.7.1

I was trying to find an english equivalent to the "sudden and last warm period of autumn before the real cold starts". Here in england we would call that "lucky" lol.On a serious note england has been experiencing odd weather patterns with extreme heat spells. Nature is warning us something is not ...

Re: Do/did these bugs apply to PM, and is XUL as bad as claimed?

Indeed less could be better.Obviously pale moon extensions library is not as big as chrome but this is the problem, google has FAR too many extensions and there must be multiple examples of single extensions alone and this in itself is a security problem as google do not vet the extensions properly o...

Re: palemoon is slow to load pages in cache, compared to firefox

so I enable automatic management in palemoon commander, then i disable it and restart. Then i load my pages full of texts and perhaps it is indeed faster. In any case, there still is the little icon for the load of the page and it is not instantaneous like in firefox. I try on clean profile and aut...

Have you tried disabling the palemoon commander and allowing palemoon to handle the cache by itself as the previous post implied.maybe there is conflict somewhere.

You can have FT Deepdark to work on palemoon 28.* by applying "Moontester tool 1.2.0" to FT Deepark 9.5.4

Re: WideVine & the DRM modules.....what's the position with these?

The problem is that these parts are not open source . I can completely understand that they do not like to include it. Sites that employ DRM also do a bit of user agent sniffing and shut the door tight on what google consider unknown browsers and to be expected they wish people to use chrome. As tim...

Re: WideVine & the DRM modules.....what's the position with these?

Is there a possibility to add the DRM functionality, e.g. with an addon or a plugin? Not possible with an extension or a plugin.DRM has to be hard coded into palemoon and as stated it is never going to happen so basilisk or indeed any other browser will be the alternative. As tobin or whatever title...
