Re: Can't search at justwatch.com

Search works fine for me too, in both Native and Compat modes. Win 7 x86. By 'works', I mean that both the preview dropdown and full results page were fine. No special ad/content blocker adjustments were needed. For whatever it's worth, this was in the console: Error: TypeError: t.response is undefi...

Re: Site page russkiiyazyk.ru freezes

It seems to specifically hang up on this script:

Code: Select all

https://get.optad360.io/sf/17f2705c-51de-11e8-86dc-06048607e8f8/plugin.min.js
The site loaded/scrolled fine for me when that was blocked.

And fwiw, it also seems to load ok, with/without that script, when cookies are blocked.

Re: Can't download image from pixabay

That sounds like your problem is caused by some custom setting(s). I'm afraid I don't know what setting (or settings combination) might cause this. You can try troubleshooting by flipping your personal settings one by one. Or in the alternative, try resetting all prefs to default values using the op...

how to enforce a smaller button with the correct sizing
Try using #abp-toolbarbutton .toolbarbutton-icon for the selector.
(and if needed, max-height, max-width ...?)

Code: Select all

#abp-toolbarbutton .toolbarbutton-icon {
  height: Xpx !important;
  width: Ypx !important;
}

It's all history for me now but I remember trying all sorts in FF at some point, to get rid of the tab bar, only an extension did it
Mozilla removed that ability from Firefox seven years ago, in FF 23.

Reading through the bug (& others related or linked to) was... interesting.

Re: Can't download image from pixabay

on Ubuntu Studio 19.10 ... it downloads normally. Apparently this is a problem specifically that OS installation. Try in safe mode . The problem is specific to your browser profile in the PM installation in the other OS. If the problem persists in safe mode, test in a fresh, vanilla profile.

Works here too.
Blocking scripts from pinimg.com will cause a blank page, so check for that.

Re: Can't download image from pixabay

The image downloads fine here too, with either method (using the exact steps in the first post, or via right-click > context menu > save as).

Have you checked your adblocker settings?

Try in safe mode.

Re: PM profile backup

User passwords are saved in logins.json and key3.db. They work together as a pair.
Backing up both together should do the job.

If you care to use an extension, Password Backup Tool will make backups in .json or .csv form.

One can also make selective backups with FEBE.

Confirmed. Play buttons were inert for PM 28.9.0.2 and Basilisk-2020.03.11, Win 7 x86 Tried some other user agents, which didn't help. However it did play on PM 28.8.4 (and on FF68 and Chromium). Error Console, PM 28.9.0.2, new profile: (1st item was also in console for PM 28.8.4, which played) Warn...

Guess it will work once Widevine has been implemented then.
The video plays fine here in Basilisk-2020.03.11 if DRM is enabled.

It requires DRM.
