Re: Unable to sign in to Sony Entertainment Network
Going by what Moonchild has said a few times before. I've seen numerous posts by Moonchild telling people they need to UNINSTALL NoScript (versus merely disable) to remove its influence. But cannot recall any posts by him telling people that their profile was irreversibly damaged due to merely havi...

Re: Two questions before I remove PlacesCleaner and CookieKeeper extensions
If you read my responses in that thread carefully, you'll see that this is more than just rumor; the sanitize code (for clearing history) does indeed clear Flash cookies; this has been part of the browser's code for a long time. You can see it in action for yourself by playing a flash game, clearin...

Re: Two questions before I remove PlacesCleaner and CookieKeeper extensions
I use CookieKeeper for its ability to protect selected individual cookies from being deleted with the rest. This requires using the extension's sanitize function, rather than the browser's. But if you just want to delete all things on exit, I believe the browser does that just fine with most (some w...

Re: Bookmarks Toolbar empty after addon install
I had just installed the Extension called "Addons Memory Usage Intika MoD" and was in the process of trying to find the page/icon which was supposed to show me the memory usage of my Addons. I never found anything showing memory usage. So I gave up and eventually uninstalled the addon. Somewhere al...

Re: Why is Basilisk Running Half Broken?
changing Pale Moon to "native mode" does enable Trip Advisor to work... however, one ends up with a one-inch space taker saying it is an obsolete browser That "space taker" can be hidden, either with a custom adblocker rule, or with userContent.css (or Stylem ). adblocker rule: tripadvisor.com##.un...

Re: Why is Basilisk Running Half Broken?
It will work in Pale Moon with the native UA, or else with a site-specific UA override using one of the strings mentioned previously.coffeebreak wrote: ↑2020-04-20, 19:20The site works in Pale Moon in Native mode (but not in Compat mode).

Re: Why is Basilisk Running Half Broken?
Have you tried a clean profile with no extensions.?.That site should render in basilisk just fine. Evidently you didn't "try the site in a clean profile with no extensions" yourself before posting, to know whether your claim was accurate. :P Basilisk with a clean, vanilla profile does indeed have t...

Re: Why is Basilisk Running Half Broken?
I also don't know how an SSUAO would be implemented Remember this post (and the link it contains) ? Classic Theme Restorer Irrelevant to UA overrides. NT 6.1 or NT 10.0, which to use if I am using a Windows 10 Pro? Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64 means a 64 bit browser used on 64 bit Windows 10; Window...

Re: Why is Basilisk Running Half Broken?
For tripadvisor.com, an SSUAO fixes it.
The site works in Pale Moon in Native mode (but not in Compat mode).
The site also worked for me in Basilisk with a site-specific user agent override, for the UA string using either PM's native user agent, or older Firefox (60, 52), or IE 11.

Re: Youtube black screen v2020.03.04
@olafmi,
Did you update to 2020.04.15 prior to 2020.04.17, or did you skip it?
I'm guessing that your issue was actually fixed in 2020.04.15, by a change that affected hardware acceleration.

Re: Not returning to point on previous page
Here is your previous post, from a year and a half ago. You may want to read through it.
What you describe happens to me too, on the two examples provided.
However I don't see this happen on other random sites, so it seems to be site-specific.

Re: Basilisk - Profile Switcher not compatible?
It sounds like the outer containing folder got zipped up along with the contents. These items (install.rdf, chrome.manifest, skin, locale, content) need to be at the top level of the xpi. If you open the unzipped extension, select all the contents and zip up just those, minus the containing folder, ...

If you change Basilisk's minVersion (in install.rdf) from 55.0 to 52.0, Profile Switcher will install.

Re: Two copies of PM open at the same time
See this thread . What do you mean by "two copies"? If you mean two windows that use the same installation and same profile , you can't "exit" from just one window. But you should be able to close one window by clicking the "X". Don't know why that doesn't work for you. What happens in safe mode ?

1. Mozillazine forums has a private message function. You can make an account yourself and pm the developer.
2. To my straightforward non-lawyerly mind, take it... means just what it sounds like. Available for the taking.
