It's like that on a separate netbook as well. On the netbook the videos work.

Okay I uninstalled firefox and deleted any folders I could find. So then i reinstalled PM first and it installed without all of those plugins listed just the flashplayer plugin - just like the way my netbook is. Then I tested PM to see if it would open the CNN videos. Same story it gives an undefine...

I'm going to uninstall it all, profile and whatever and see if I can find something leftover.

Also noticed on some other pages of CNN they have these videos that start auto playing and will jump to the right side in small form if you scroll down and will follow you down. An example is here. On those pages on the video in PM it states "video format or mme type is not supported".

Wasn't sure how to do that so installed an extension that lets you set UA per site. So i put firefox's UA and also tried no UA for CNN and it made no difference. Same error message.

I have same settings as you. User agent mode was firefox compatibliity, switched to native, restarted, still the same error on cnn video.

I just whitelisted CNN and the error still resulted and on a refresh as well so perhaps the adblocker being on or off has mostly nothing to do with the issue (as my earlier test without addons would suggest)

Tried AL and again I got the message and video would not play. If I remove it, video plays. Seems it is the adblocker causing this on my laptop. But...

Okay so I uninstalled the 32bit PM and this time also the profile and everything and reinstalled 64 bit PM and now CNN videos are working. I guess something in the profile got corrupted. So all is okay. Now I need a plugin to block CNN auto play videos.
