Pale Moon forum

The site doesn't load for me. It seems to freeze the browser for a second or two initially then it just shows a spinning circle in middle of blank page. Tried it with a new profile and same story. Works in FF for me.

I tried this in FF57 with the same user agent override that PM uses for YT and that ad behaves like it should.

Tried it again and that same ad (actually I think it was a variation of his ad) seems to reliably reproduce the issue. I haven't yet ran into any other ad - I think there are at least 10 different other ones - that does this. Not to say that there are not other similar ads. What is "devtools" console?

Yes try disabling those last two (and malwarebytes antimalware if it uses real time protection ) and maybe restart and try it.

With PM closed, my prefs.js file in notepad shows a lot of settings in addition to what you have there.

I'm using Windows 10 and pop up exceptions for me are saved in PM and remain after restart.

You're also seeing tabs (release notes etc) open like before in addition to settings not saved?

Does desktop installed PM work normally in other ways? Can you visit websites, log into this forum, watch videos on Youtube etc?
