Re: Twitch Tracker, how to edit for PM 27.1 ?
Try download Twitch Now 1.1.187 and install it using Moon Tester Tool. At least I see icon in toolbar and no error in console, but since I don't use twitch I can't check more.

What part of "because the extension that is targeted to Firefox 27.9 most likely will be compatible with Pale Moon 27" didn't you get? (c)Moonraker wrote:Why is the actual browser identifying as 27.9.?

Re: Twitch Tracker, how to edit for PM 27.1 ?
I tried this tutorial http://developer.palemoon.org/Add-ons:Extensions/Jetpack This tutorial is intended for developers, you don't have to expect that any add-on can be magically converted from SDK to PMkit 8-) Do you have any positive experience at least with one of these extensions (probably in d...

Re: Browser identification
Is it normal that PM27 is being identified as Firefox 27.9? Yes, because the extension that is targeted to Firefox 27.9 most likely will be compatible with Pale Moon 27. However you can try to install any version (this will probably require modification of its install.rdf) and check by yourself. Us...

Re: Is a cooperation between Pale Moon and SeaMonkey feasible?
It seems to me that SeaMonkey is already abandoned, the core developers are gone and the rest hardly cope even with the current platform update. It's sad, but I see no future there thus no benefit from possible cooperation can be expected.

3) How do I make PM not switch to newly opened tab? In which case? From link, hotkey, ...? I found a setting for it, but it's already unchecked, so it shouldn't happen. A bug? Which setting do you mean? 4) What do I do to open links in the same tab (unless I hold Ctrl)? So it happens by default, un...

Re: How many would Firefox lose its add-ons after embracing WebExtensions?
The author of EPUBReader launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to finance the migration of the add-on to WebExtensions. The requested sum is €25,000 (via GHacks).

Re: Pale Moon hangs - probably related to uBlock Origin
I don't recommend anyone to use two ad blocking extensions simultaneously. This will lead to no profit, but only will slow down the browser and likely will cause the unpredictable results.

Re: A (potential?) solution for SDK extensions...
The current version of Pale Moon 27.1 is release-ready -- I intend to link to this documentation for extension developers, and it would be great if you could include a step-by-step instruction needed for those developers to make their extensions compatible with Pale Moon. Even if it is just the nee...

Sun-Glasses, could you please stop repeating your wishes about rebase and DRM? I'm pretty sure that you have been heard (and even got the answers). This flame you produce since then is senseless and becoming annoying.

It has a jungle of settings compared to its 4.9.24 predecessor and most current competitors, it uses a different side-program (LIBAV) for stream conversion than the FFMPEG which any other video downloading extensions which offer such functionality use, and it forces the extra step of conversion on ...

Re: General add-ons compatibility [and in particular Privacy Badger]
I made some work to revive Privacy Badger for Pale Moon 27.1, it seems it works at least no worse than in Firefox. But after digging inside I have to state that I will not recommend to use this add-on, because it's written very suboptimally and is full of bugs which will unlikely be corrected in the...
