Can confirm the latest Pale Moon unstable (20181106224257) works for me too.

Re: 2018.11.04 File menu bar, address bar, blank window

kelendral: are there any specific differences in installed third party software on either machine? I've made a fully fresh build from the latest commit to the tree to verify (32-bit browser) and there are no issues whatsoever with this on my Windows 7 x64 workstation. The binary is here: ftp://arch...

Re: 2018.11.04 File menu bar, address bar, blank window

Can confirm the same issue seems to be present on the PM Unstable ver. I just downloaded pale moon unstable portable (from this link: http://rm-us.palemoon.org/release/palemoon-unstable-latest.win32.portable.exe) and ran it, I get pretty much the same result. Only difference is the window starts rat...

Re: 2018.11.04 File menu bar, address bar, blank window

Can confirm Telanor's results using Basilisk 2018.11.04 on Win7. The error console did appear after using -jsconsole, but it showed nothing, nor did starting it on safe-mode or even deleting the profile folder.

Can confirm that I had no issues with Twitch. Did you try it on safe-mode, with a new profile and/or with Portable Pale Moon?

Re: Compact theme in Basilisk

I use a combination of Classic Theme Restorer and Tab Mix Plus that, with some tinkering, is much more compact than Mozilla's Compact theme. I think you could even get by with CTR by itself.

Basilisk-specific section on the Add-ons site

Are the any plans to make a Basilisk-specific section on the Add-ons site? While for now Basilisk users can just go to AMO, while non-webextensions add-ons are still up, they won't be able to do so eventually. Some Pale Moon add-ons work with Basilisk, some don't (most of those affected by the Austr...

Re: inforss reloaded - palemoon version of inforss

Would it be possible to make InfoRSS show its feed somewhere else besides the statusbar and/or its own top-down bar? Like, for example, making the whole thing drag-able anywhere in the UI?

Re: dark mode for basilisk.

I think a working dark mode extension would be welcomed by most users. You can try this (I can vouch for it, works just fine in Basilisk): A tutorial to hack that extension so I could use version 0.5.11? Save 0.5.11 xpi , rename it to zip, extract, open file lib\ui\sdk-togglebutton-with-panel.js an...

Re: Basilisk.2018.04.24 White Tab Bar Tab Text

Strange, CTR works fine for me in Basilisk, both the tab style and the text color. Tested it on 2018.04.26 and 2018.04.24, on Win7 and Debian. Did you tried it under a new profile or at least after cleaning CTR's preferences?

I suppose the more people that use Goanna the merrier we'll (eventually) be. Hopefully that will lead to improvements being made along the way.

Re: Compare Basilisk and Waterfox

That is probably because Waterfox is essentially FF 56.0 with telemetry off and Basilisk is based on a modified FF 52.0 ESR. Obviously, Waterfox would have less "compatibility" problems due to the smaller number of changes from the actual FF builds.

Bueno, ese listado se comenzó antes de que Moon Tester existiera...más allá de editar manualmente para forzar que Pale Moon las aceptara.

Pale Moon never really "disallowed" it, the extension was just datebombed to stop working, which David Ross luckily fixed

Wouldn't it be easier to have it as an offline-only machine in the first place or do you actually need the net for your games?

Re: [Release] Various theme ports/forks

It's possible with userChrome.css, but clunky. You can edit the top margin of #navigator-toolbox, but you'd need to watch out for both the caption buttons and the appmenu obscuring the interface. Yeah, I tried that and it quickly into the "need to thinker a bit" to fix the caption buttons obscuring...

Re: New Youtube interface... and browser sniffing...?

Can confirm it works for me too due to having FF56 as an user agent. Just another case of Google using "scary" messages to try to force people to use their botnet.
