Re: Change User Agent String Automatically

If that is used or a different implementation.. It would be a scheduled update of a list not a phone home ping for every site you visit. Cause that is beyond fucking ridiculous.

Re: major browsers to stop hyperlink auditing.

I love fake news! Yes, they are removing the ability for it to be disabled. Mozilla will follow suit once it is finalized in Quantum.

Except I spell it "Pale Moon." ;)
Only because that is the proper form of the name of the browser. Accept no corruptions!

Re: Waterfox has Jumped the Shark

His 56 detour aside, half of us here could do Waterfox with reletive ease. It isn't special anymore no minor rebuild is. In some slightly superficial ways we have a similar history. Waterfox 56, motives and side actions aside was essentually like our Pale Moon 24-26 era but instead of sticking it ou...

Re: The end is nigh (of Windows 7 that is)

Well I am not a moron so I won't be using Mint or Virtual Box. I am a system administrator by skill if not by fancy pieces of paper, so I will be using enterprise grade systems for the linux.

I am not even going to bother.. Someone else give him the extension developer speech, the one-way profile migration speech, the Firefox xul extension compatibility speech, the have you checked on OUR Add-ons Site for a replacement or fork speech, and the forum is not much of a support venue for add-...

I expect to relegate Windows 7 to a VM on Linux eventually.. Or I won't. Does it matter?

Re: Waterfox has Jumped the Shark

Waterfox isn't an example of diversity though. It is a minor rebuild on a dead-end track introducing a dead-end modification of a technology that won't exist in the future except here. If they were truly interested in being diverse they would have stuck it out on their gecko/56 mod which was evolvin...

Re: Waterfox has Jumped the Shark

Except they can't for the reasons I layed out and more will follow once I examine their code more closely when they release their new degeneration of Waterfox to the pubic. Else, why would they need to use deceptive marketing claims, at best? Also, how is it better for all? If they pull it off eithe...

Re: Waterfox has Jumped the Shark

Pale Moon, Basilisk, and Borealis can be considered niche browsers, some more than others.. Not to mention the smaller chromium browsers oh and to be fair, Waterfox users.

So, I would say, beyond myself? A good number of people.

At any rate, good day, sir.

Only when they are spreading verifiable lies and other falsehoods. So telling the truth with an opinion attached is a sign of metal instability, eh? Didn't we just have an entire week long poll about me, speech, and attacking people resulting in policy changes? You're not gonna enjoy reality slappin...

Waterfox has Jumped the Shark

With Waterfox's new website and their new ESR68 based soon to be released offering they have introduced a modified Bootstrap option for a subset of classical extensions to be modified to run under their abomination. This has lead them to make the false claim: Waterfox is the ONLY fully customizable ...

Re: Website looks awful in basilisk

Just because this is a situation that we can mitigate on our side to make it more tollerent to this type of error in css does not negate the fact that they indeed made one. The fact that there IS mitigation in this case in other browsers that is open to us isn't exactly a good thing. We will try to ...
