My bad. Question should read: "However, in my personal use, what's the point of having two things when one is enough and works well?

Re: PayPal refusing to send money w/Pale Moon 28.4.0 on Windows 10

<shrug> As PaleMoon deviates further from FireFox, more and more websites won't recognize it. That's not a problem related to Pale Moon, I guess. It's a site designer's issue. Years ago, all sites were designed with IE in mind. Opera browser, despite being 100% standards compliant, had it quite dif...

Don't know :wtf: Doing it that way, it seems to me like an extra step not really needed BUT no criticism or judgement here, at all. Just my two cents

Re: Did you know you could put the search bar anywhere?

If it were entirely up to me, searching from the address bar would not be a thing, at all. Whaaaatt?? It's amazing that you of all people have such point of view, indeed. And I mean no disrespect or criticism. However, what's the point of having two things when one is enough and works well?...

Re: Will Pale Moon support WebExtensions?

I still don't get the point why this would have to be an issue. If you are a developer [...] you can't expect those applications to take the exact same extension code and be happy with it -- [...] There are these wonderful things like GreaseMonkey etc. that already let you create content manipulati...

Re: Will Pale Moon support WebExtensions?

I wish all browsers would just support the same standard to make our lives easier. That's the price of diversity and choice, I guess, but I get your point  I don't get that point. How would it make the lives of the end-users easier? Of course you don't, my friend, because you are thinking ...

Re: effecticely disabling javascript

First of all, a question :wtf: Are you aware Firefox Quantum addons do NOT work in Pale Moon, right? Once upon a time, pre-Firefox Quantum addons could/could not work in Pale Moon, but now, they don't. Regarding your question about disable Javascript for a given page, you could try this addon: Scrip...

Excuse me, the problem here is you talk too much without thought. Your problem was not Pale Moon-related, it's "you-related". Your message resumes like this: "I'm a noob and if something goes wrong, it's your fault". What?? Please. You rant against Lubuntu, against Pale Moon... Make up your mind: do...

Re: Is thunderbird still a good choice to use with Pale Moon?

For a desktop client, you might try Interlink . Why would you suggest a client that has VERY limited support over [...]? In order you might be aware of additional options, maybe? Choice is a great thing. You like it, you use it. If you don't, you won't. No need to issue an implicit criticism just b...

My extension are [...] "Disconnect" / [...] "Theme font & Size Changer" [...] for all profiles, exception the 2 profiles [...] those profiles behave differently [...] This is not an issue for me, PM works well. Just curiosity. Those 2 are FF addons, not PM addons. I'd say the culprit is "Disconnect...

Re: So Basically, This is Internet Explorer With a Firefox Facade

After reading the post that Pale Moon will never support WebExtensions [...] we might as well be using Internet Explorer. Really I don't get it. With such a variety of browsers to be used freely, what is the reason you don't use one that suits you? Instead, you took the time to write such a useless...

Legacy Collector's simple web list of legacy extensions. http://www.legacycollector.org/firefox-addons/index.html Thanks so much for this post! It's quite a lifesaver. I installed Space Advance addon for PM but soon the browser began to stall frequently. I remembered the addon, uninstalled it and p...

... I'll confirm the behavior (in PM 28.4, Win7). Does this mean that you see the same behavior that I see (music selections change but picture doesn't change)? Beats me. I can't make that site to work, not in Palemoon, FF, or Chrome. I'm using Dpup 7.5 (a Puppy derivative based on Debian Stretch)....

My new Palemoon [32bit ver. 27.6.1, Xenial7.5(puppy) linux] Update your PM. Version 27.6.1 is a bit old (28.3.1 is current version), and yes, I use a puppy derivative (Dpup). Re: Facebook still utterly sucks in Pale Moon :(

I'm also having severe issues with palemoon and Facebook, usually when I scroll using the middle button and moving downwards, other pages will only stall every 2 seconds or so, but Facebook is very jittery and jerky and it stalls more often than every 2 seconds. Hi! Same problem here BUT in Youtube...
