Re: Java plugin not working

Note that the installed and the candidate
(what is available on Ubuntu 16.04 repos) are the same.
You have the current available version of java installed
for the Ubuntu OS version you have installed. You have no
problem.

Installed: 2:1.8-56ubuntu2
Candidate: 2:1.8-56ubuntu2

Re: Java plugin not working

Just delete the /usr/lib/java/jre1.8.0_201 directory and the libnpjp2.so soft-link in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. You would then need to create a new soft-link to the libnpjp2.so of the java version you intend to use in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. I'm going to assume it is /opt/jd2/jre/lib/amd64/libnpj...

Re: Java plugin not working

Run from terminal: sudo updatedb --prunepaths='/tmp /var/spool /media /mnt' Then run: locate libnpjp2.so Then run: ls -al /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins Post output of above last two commands. Re: Retrieve bookmarks from old installation files for a fresh install

This is in relation to what _yuyu_ explained. If you do not know what the path to the bookmarkbackups directory in your profile is run in a terminal: sudo updatedb --prunepaths='/tmp /var/spool /media /mnt' this command will run for a while updating the DB, when back at the prompt run: sudo locate b...

Command Line Options

I thought I saw a thread on this forum that showed all the CLI options (linux not win)
and even a way to show them from a term or from the browser but I just can't find the post.
Must be using the wrong terminology in the search.
Can someone give me a clue?

Re: Pale Moon 28 - Positive Feedback

Been running Version 28.1 on 32 and 64 Debian based systems since yesterday and no problems at all so far.
Just noticed one small problem with Clean Links Extension but was easily fixed via hack mention in Clean
Link Thread. Used cloned profile from 27.9.4 ...not a problem.

Re: Clean Links - disappearing button

Try changing line 34 of browser.js. ("cleanlinks = {" does not look like a constant to me). Change from: const cleanlinks = { Change to: var cleanlinks = { Note that the Clean Links toolbar button is stable (doesn't disappear) on my installation of PM28. However, I had not used the Clean Links exte...
