Re: Add an about:config setting to control Stop/Reload buttons merging

coffeebreak, I tried to search for that (I knew it existed) and failed. Glad you saw this thread.

Re: Add an about:config setting to control Stop/Reload buttons merging

Stop and Reload only get combined if you put Reload on the left and Stop on the right. If you switch them or just put them in different places, they won't merge. You could also add a flexible space between them (doesn't show a line like a separator does) . I know this answer is not ideal but I'm try...

Re: Paid Support Idea

There are a lot of tech-savvy people on this forum who are pretty good at figuring stuff out, I think the vast majority of the problems people have here could be solved this way, by users helping each other out. I think this is the most relevant point here. The forum was made for the users , and as...

Re: Pale Moon is slow despite good PC specs ...

I've been testing this issue running the latest PM (32-bits), on Windows 7 SP1 with 4gb of RAM, and this delay seems to apply to images mostly (they load after 2-3 seconds). You can see this effect in sites with a lot of images (just try any link in the default start.me page, like AliExpress and Tri...

Re: Want to talk about NoScript? Post here.

Maybe I didn't explain clearly enough, that notice has been around for as long as I can remember (and I first used Pale Moon back when Australis arrived in FF) in all pages in palemoon.org. So this notice appearing for you, I think, has nothing to do with NoScript's current status.

Re: Why is my topic closed??

I noticed the Pale Moon NoScript page has been updated since the last DuckDuckGo/Bing crawl: https://i.imgur.com/MHl8JLL.jpg Gives a bit of perspective on who NoScript is actually causing problems for. The "you're using an adblocker" notice IS NOT EXCLUSIVE TO NO SCRIPT . I see it too with uBlock O...

Re: Want to talk about NoScript? Post here.

Sorry, but I cant find anything about ''known security and stability issues'' for the browser using the addon. I'm not a moderator but, in the link you posted, see: Switching NoScript to "allow all", disabling NoScript in the add-on manager, or any other attempt at fixing these issues without perfo...

Re: Need for NoScript is a failure of browser community

The certainly didn't create Peeping Zuck and his Facebook. But you allowed these abuses to stand. So it's Pale Moon's fault now, that users keep on trying to make use of websites and services known to hoard excessive amounts of data? Ironically, only Chrome seems to be making any kind of effort to ...

Re: Important: NoScript users and our support

Yes, and it's called YesScript . In my opinion, I think it's really difficult to use NoScript, unless you really know exactly what is essential to have full functionality on every page you visit (as you quoted, "finely tuned"). People who have this level of control over webpages will likely know how...

Re: Lost My Favorite Tweak After Updating --> Maximizing Tab Text Display

I'm not getting results with that addon. The text is not expanding, and also the tab width options are not optimal for me and are in fact counterproductive in displaying more text. I've installed it again and noticed that it hides the close button for the current tab, and hides the close button for...

Re: Add-ons Site has been updated to Phoebus 1.9.2

Now that APMO supports searching directly, the plugin's URL can be updated: <os:Url type="text/html" method="GET" template="http://addons.palemoon.org/search/?terms={searchTerms}" resultDomain="addons.palemoon.org"> </os:Url> I tried that and couldn't get it to work, but for me this one works (I us...

Re: Flagfox DB Updating

@Lootyhoof @kbhasi I have emailed the dev myself, taking into account the fact that he's not supportive of Firefox forks. I have asked him if it's fine to make APMO link to his website, specifically to the section where Flagfox for FF ESR is being updated. Come August 2018, users of Flagfox will hav...

Not really, I hardly use stylish. Now I even disabled it. Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know about the difference.

@Thehandyman1957, the latest version of Stylish I have is 2.1.1 . Probably doesn't make much of a difference, but I don't know.

danielson, I've been able to install Dark Youtube Theme - Black Skin for YouTube & FB version 2.3.0 using Moon Tester Tool. Installs fine and so far I'm not seeing any white boxes or unstyled areas.

Re: Add-ons Site has been updated to Phoebus 1.9.2

I think the search function is amazing, @New Tobin Paradigm . Clearing the search field or not is a matter of preference: people who make several searches may find it annoying to have to select the field and erase the search terms each time. If someone may be wondering why it doesn't work from the A...

@Thehandyman1957 even I got lost trying to find the button (I'm young and my eyesight is good), no wonder your wife had trouble finding the other button. Also, you might want Greasemonkey for Pale Moon.

@JustOff, your fork now displays a bigger icon
