Re: AzureCanvasAccelerated ?

Layers and canvas are 2 different things. Also, using any force-* parameters are unsupported and you are on your own in that case. I understand. Mozilla derived browsers consumes very high cpu on Linux, especially with videos. Without force-enabling hardware acceleration, they become useless for re...

AzureCanvasAccelerated ?

I set "layers.acceleration.force-enabled" -> "true" but "AzureCanvasAccelerated" is still "0". Is this supposed to be "1" when hw compositing enabled?

Re: GlobalSign Intermediate SSL Certificates missing.

If it is a proxy or security av that forcing its own certificate, Chromium should have same issue as well but not. Not necessarily. I don't know if Chromium automatically imports certs from the Windows trust store or not, but if so, then it's possible the security software installed the required in...

Re: GlobalSign Intermediate SSL Certificates missing.

Thanks for the cert info -- that indeed does look OK so shouldn't be the problem. I'm assuming this is the cert from your normal ISP that doesn't have the problem? It's likely in that case that your work has a decrypting proxy in use (endpoint security or AV or similar) that presents a different ce...

Re: GlobalSign Intermediate SSL Certificates missing.

In the "add exception" window, you will have the opportunity to view the presented certificates. Can you provide the details of the presented certificates, please? (CN, issuer, etc.) It seems the problem is related with something else. Probably a dns or network topology issue since Firefox has same...

As a test, create a new, clean Profile.
Always testing with clean profile. I'm not using antivirus because I'm using Linux.

These are the Globalsign root certs on default install:

Re: GlobalSign Intermediate SSL Certificates missing.

This is the result when I try with PM 28.3.0 on Devuan Linux x64. Installed from Steven Pusser repo.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If I add the intermediate cert manually, problem solves.

Re: Any plans for hardware acceleration?

Chromium community managed to enable video hardware acceleration almost for a year. It seems Linux web browsing scene is getting more appealing for notebook users and older PC hardware owners.

Re: Palemoon crashing every minute with GLXBadContext error

I'm a former Arch user and I tired of getting unnecessarily urgent package upgrades.
Bleeding edge may sounds good but it begins to irritate in time when unnecessary updates break things.

Re: Palemoon crashing every minute with GLXBadContext error

It seems your distro has some packaging post-install/upgrade problems. Whenever you install some alternative LibGL, package manager must take care of proper switching between libGL variants, at least it should prevent to install the package due to the conflict. If you ask me, I wouldn't spend a nick...

Re: Palemoon crashing every minute with GLXBadContext error

Is there any chance that NVIDIA's proprietary driver installed with Mesa libGL? You can check it via :

glxinfo
ls -l /usr/lib/libGL*

Re: Palemoon crashing every minute with GLXBadContext error

Your problem seems related with "Indirect GLX disabled"

https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topi ... text-issue
.... newer X servers disable indirect GLX by default for security reasons. Does it work if you start your X server with the +iglx option?

It seems using "Firefox Compatibility" at Preferences > Advanced > General > Compatibility : User Agent Mode helps for this.
At least worth to try.

Re: Audio Slow on Video Playback

I have same issue on some videos too. Especially with twitter.
I was a bit reluctant about reporting this issue because I was using a custom build of Pale Moon.
It seems that it is a common issue on Linux.

When you do, please make sure you disable official branding. I looked once again over the build config and patches used in aports and they are too far removed from our official config to be accepted with official branding. In this case, can we publicly expose build options below? Is disabling offic...
