Re: Pale Moon 28 - Positive Feedback

28.1.0 fixed all the issues I had with 28. I couldn't be happier right now.

Re: Pale Moon 28: 2 lines when using lightweight themes with tabs on top

I'm having the same issue here. Worked perfectly before, but not now. It's not... deal breaking, per se, but it's incredibly annoying lol.

Long Annoying Line Ruining My Theme's Vibe (Version 28)

Amidst all the sudden computer issues I've been having the deal with, ranging from the youtube black bar thing to others, a new one popped up today with version 28 of Pale Moon. Right above my bookmarks, my theme suddenly has a long strange line, whereas before in the latest version of 27 it wasn't ...

Ahhh! Thank you! I was wondering where this issue came from, so I finally decided to dig around. Worked like a charm!

Re: What is the about:config setting to disable the blocklist or change the "level"

While we're on the topic, will we be able to whitelist specific addons that we wish to use, without altering the entire security level? As an example, should another Tier 2 blocked addon join Adnauseum in that category, would we (eventually) allow ourselves to use the new one uninterrupted, while ke...

Re: It just... dies.

In case anyone wanted closure, the advice of turning off hardware acceleration in the browser seemed to work like a charm. Haven't crashed in days~

Re: It just... dies.

Disabling hardware acceleration in the browser will likely solve your crashes, but it's also a rather blunt way of dealing with the problem, and you may end up with a lot less performance from the browser than you could have... A more fine-grained way, if you already have Pale Moon commander instal...

Re: It just... dies.

Turn off hardware acceleration in the browser :) Install also that here: https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/pm-commander/ Then go to Pale Moon button - options - advanced options (with that you enter the pm-commander settings) And do the following: - Turn off everyting inside graphics - rendering (j...

Re: It just... dies.

I think you stated that it happens after you watch videos. Have you tried completely uninstalling flash and then clean installing it? I don't know if PM uses flash that much so don't know if that will help. It will with flash, but also will some other times as well. I just... want to know the speci...

Re: It just... dies.

Are you running Avast as A/V? I haven't really looked at this thread deeply but this stuck out. I think I saw that. One thing i would suggest to try is to turn off Avast and use windows defender for a/v duties - i think i read you are using win 10 (keep malwarebytes on computer for on demand scans)...

Re: It just... dies.

Actually, in regards to what Moderator satrow was talking about, I was scrolling through my plugins listed when I noticed NVidia had two 3D vision plugins enabled for this browser. So, since it's apparently a problem, I decided to disable them, and give it one more go before I do a clean wipe (for ...

Re: It just... dies.

Not to change the subject, but maybe it's time to try a Pale Moon Refresh.... Type about:support in address bar and click on the "Refresh Pale Moon" button.... then clear cookies and cache and followup with a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) and test Pale Moon again? (not sure if this helps, but at this stag...

Would it be "Stereoscopic 3D" that you could try disabling?
I did find that option, yes. But it's already disabled, so I was wondering if it was something else under a more specific name.

I've been looking, but I can't find the exact option for that. Might it be under a different name?

Also, I doubt it'd do anything important, but what does 3D Vision do anyway? lol
