Re: Are certain elements of PM and Firefox profiles cross-compatible?

Ah, OK, thanks for answering my concerns, I guess I might have to use rsync from the PM files to the Fx files, and manually create bookmarks if I need to go in the other direction.

Are certain elements of PM and Firefox profiles cross-compatible?

The reason I'm asking about this is for an idea I had, which is to run both Pale Moon and a fork of Firefox that uses the newer Firefox Accounts for sync, on some always-on PC I have, and symbolically link certain files from the Fx profile to the respective files within the PM profile , which would ...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

I think the X button being cropped didn't occur with the previous versions. Mouse-hovering crops it even more. Tested this on both 100-125 DPI (Windows setting, Interlink set at -1). 100 DPI.png Yep, I've had the same problem too, but on the Linux version. Seemingly, it did use the GTK notification...

Am I the only one having issues with Tree Style Tabs, in that it randomly detaches tabs?

I know I can file a bug report in the GitHub repository, but I feel like asking here on the forums first to see if anyone else is having the same issue I have. Basically, with Tree Style Tabs enabled, and by that, I mean the fork for PM, and version 0.0.5 on PM 28.2.1. Besides the white bar issue th...

Re: Changing of favicons

I never knew Firefox even had such a feature, so I do wish for this feature to be integrated, or at least fork the extension.

Also, there might be something wrong with your PM profile or it may be conflicting with another extension. Just saying.

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

You cannot run calendar in Interlink without building it with it due to built in binary components.. So what you are going to try will fail. It did, but in a rather interesting way. It throws up this error , then the menu items are unclickable, and it's kinda like a shell of what it should be . Als...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

No Windows or BSD builders need apply. Linux 32bit builds may be produced for specific distro packages but no branded generic Linux32 build may be distributed. Yep, understandable. Actually, I wonder what the unofficial branding package would result in it being branded as, seeing how Firefox remain...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

I been developing this off and on for about three months and actually started before the money goal was reached.. So not as quick as you would think. Neat! It does remind me of how I would want to work towards at least a working prototype before announcing my software projects. I'm sure there'll be...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

I am hoping to get that first release.. released sometime this week. Dang, that's fast... I'm sure there'll be a way to switch update channels to "release". Also, I didn't know Thunderbird had contacts and calendar support, Even then, I'm sure that wouldn't support any of the spiffy extra features ...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

No, I have my own vision and at a basic level I think Interlink is getting there. Nice! I forgot to mention that the link in the settings to download other dictionaries doesn't work, it goes to the Firefox section of AMO (instead of the Thunderbird section) but doesn't have the correct user-agent i...

Re: Pre-release Feedback Thread for Interlink Mail & News

So far, it seems pretty stable, however, so far, I only encountered one minor issue: When adding Gmail, one has to manually change the authentication method to "OAuth2", at least for incoming mail, though I think it should also apply for outgoing. Next, I do like how you inadvertently decided to kee...

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon

I'm also going to have to take a look at how you ported this feature over, as, if I'm inclined enough to do so, I may want to try my hand at porting Firefox Home (the only Firefox 57+ feature I actually like) to take the place of the equivalent pages on PM. Since most of Reader View is JavaScript w...

Re: Reader View for Pale Moon

I'm not sure if someone has mentioned it already, but the button should be located within the location bar, not as a separate button, though I can live with the wasted space for now. (Edit: solved) I'm also going to have to take a look at how you ported this feature over, as, if I'm inclined enough...

As far as I know, there's already a similar extension called "MozArchiver", which can save into that format by selecting "Web Page, MHTML".

Re: Add user agent override for Carousell, to suppress its glitched mobile app download banner

Edit: It's possibly to replace the Windows 10 string above "Windows NT 10.0; WOW64;" with an OS specific string, like "X11; Linux x86_64;" (for a Linux on 64-bit x86). Actually, if it's possible to let the OS string show through the user agent override, I'd like to see it also done for WhatsApp Web,...

Re: Importing user settings on install - make Firefox/Edge/Chrome options?

Unfortunately it's impossible for us to maintain migrating from the constantly-changing profile storage formats of other browsers. We actually won't have the migrator any longer with the next milestone because, as you've seen, it's actually not very useful anymore. Ah, I see, because I don't pay at...

Add user agent override for Carousell, to suppress its glitched mobile app download banner

Whenever I visit Carousell (an online classifieds website popular in its home country of Singapore, where I live) using PM, it displays a mobile app download banner at the top of the page, and also glitches the appearance of the global navigation, but clicking the "GET" button takes me to a "null" U...

Host on our site. The developer doesn't seem too keen to officially support us though from what I've seen, so I have my doubts on this. List as an external. In its current state it cannot be listed as it does not have an automatic update infrastructure setup though. To do this he would need to add ...

The other option is building natively on an old 32 bit core solo/duo machine, which i don't have. All my intel machines are core2duo 64 bit. I have a 2006 (32 bit) Mac mini running Mac OS 10.6.8 Server, which I could let you use, but there are some caveats and issues: The server is located in Singa...
