Re: Webpage problem

Also on Linux (Manjaro x64 latest) with no issues and UD enabled. Not the smoothest scrolling site (looks like they lazy load) but no display issues.

Re: Firefox starts adding ads within the browser

This was last brick in the wall for me. I've uninstalled Firefox because I used it as secondary browser anyway. I'd like an alternative open source application for Thunderbird too. I really miss Fossamail. Also looking for an alternative to TB, I tried http://www.claws-mail.org/ Still decidin...

Re: My Basilisk can't see the update

Internal updater works great in Manjaro Linux x64. Clicked the About, displayed that there was an update, browser updated and rebooted -- latest version installed.

Thanks for the fix!

Re: Private Browsing

You should see (Private Browsing) in the title bar (top center of the screen) on whichever page you're browsing. So the bar is: Title of Page - Pale Moon (Private Browsing).

Current version x64 Linux.

Fasttech and Comm100 fixed from here as well. Looks like whatever the issue was with their certs has been resolved.

Re: Certificate Issue: sec_error_ocsp_invalid_signing_cert

Seeing this all day at https://www.comm100.com and their chat service. Pale Moon and FF throw the OCSP error and Chrome ignores it completely.

Looks like all these sites use CloudFlare as a CDN... Wondering if that's the common issue here.

Re: Cannot enter dns.watch with Pale Moon

45.9 is not the default compatversion in 27.4.2 (that would be 52.9); Are you sure you don't have a blanket general.useragent.override in place? Pale Moon 27.4.2 Linux 64-bit default user agent shows as: User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:45.9) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/3.2 Firefox/45.9 Pal...

Re: Spotify blocks Palemoon again

What version of Linux are you using? I just tried play.spotify.com with PM 27.4.2 (64 bit) with the browser set as Firefox compatibility, default agent.override with no issues. Using Manjaro 17.0.4 / Kernel 4.12.11 / XFCE 4.12.4

+1 on this thread title. We use nothing else but Pale Moon on all our Linux machines. There is nothing better, faster or easier to customize.

Re: Sloooow rendering / scrolling on some sites

Watching the status bar on the bottom (mine is located) the site continues to load elements from other servers as well as 'lazy loading' as you scroll which slows down and pauses scrolling. The site is also not compressing or caching images correctly and although they use http2, they're still servin...

If you install it as part of your Linux system, eg. Manjaro, updates are always including with the rolling updates so it's automatically updated. Too easy.

Got it. So, how do I prevent Pale Moon from stopping the website from loading?

Moonchild - If you'd like to see what's happening, I'd be happy to create an account for you as a live-chat operator and PM you the details. The issue occurs immediately after login.

Re: Warning Unresponsive Script

That's not an error. It's a warning that the script is doing something that will potentially make it run very slowly. As it's just a warning, all that happens is it gets output to the browser log and then carries on as normal, for whatever 'normal' might be. You will probably see that warning in fi...

Warning Unresponsive Script

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. is the error which freezes the site. This is our HTML5 (was flash) online chat software which was working on PM 27.2.x but no longer functi...
