A few random thoughts that came to mind after reading your 2 page post... 1) Although I think you figured it out, to confirm, Rufus works perfectly for creating a USB bootable drive, even with those odd ball Sandisk Cruzer Glides. 2) https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-micr...

POP Peeper
https://www.esumsoft.com/

Even though it's not an add-on, it's stable, free, not browser dependent and will handle Gmail & pretty much anything else you throw at it.

I've used it for years & love it.

Re: Forum migrated

OK, I don't know if I'm just missing something obvious, but the forest flavored theme isn't displaying correctly for me. Everything displays correctly in the theme EXCEPT the individual threads... those pages are displaying as the default silver color. I tested all the other available flavors & they...

Re: More Windows Update Problems

The REAL answer to these sorts of problems (wonky updates, user error, malicious software, half baked M$ updates, and everything else known to man and god that's not good for your system, is to run Macrium. This way, you don't have to spend hours researching a solution & hoping there's even a fix th...

Re: question if some old add-ons work or will crash

For those few oddball sites that disable right clicking, you can always temporarily disable Java Script.

Or, in lieu of Right-To-Click, you can install QuickJS 1.3.1, which allows you to quickly enable / disable JS with a tool bar button.

Re: Classic Add-ons Archive

I would sooner have 1000 extensions in there that are known to work with palemoon reliably rather than 16k of them with a hit and miss "as is" status. Then why don't you get busy testing 16K, instead of whining about it? Or would you rather have somebody else do that & hand it to you on a silver pl...

Re: is it possible to change the order of the tab context menu?

This is an easy fix... even with TMP installed.

Install Menu Wizard v5.10. You can move any menu item by drag/drop from the "about: config menu"

Also, see here

Re: Print Edit not working in Pale Moon 28

Well, FinePrint is indeed a really nice tool (which I know for around 20 years), but it works like a printer driver Exactly. That's the beauty of it... it's cross browser & application compatible, meaning it's not tied to just one browser or app. does not allow to edit single page elements It absol...

Re: Print Edit not working in Pale Moon 28

IMHO there's a more elegant solution to PrintEdit or Nuke Anything Enhansed... that's FinePrint (from the makers of pdfFactory Pro). Even though PrintEdit can be hacked to work now with PM 28, it's probably going to be more & more problematic down the road because it's not being developed anymore. F...

Re: How to edit/modify "right click on link" context menu

Menu Wizard does not have any option that I could find to edit/modify the "right click on link" context menu. If it does, how do I access that Function? Thanks, John It's super simple. 1) right click your link & you'll see your context menu (such as this) Capture1.jpg 2) left click the "configure t...

Re: Request for compatibility support of download manager software browser extension

IDM works in conjunction with Flashgot v1.5.6.14. The only thing that doesn't work with this combo is IDM's Download Panel button (for videos). For video downloading, a combination of Ant Video Downloader 2.4.7.50, NetVideoHunter 1.20 and Youtube-DLG will get you almost every video on any site. I kn...

Re: Pale Moon and Netflix

If you use a VPN that offers site filtering, you can exclude the Netflix IP from being filtered through the VPN.

I do this with several sites that simply refuse to work with a VPN or proxy.

Re: support for internet download manager and bbcode extra?

PM 28xx & IDM work together as a basic download manager if you install FlashGot v1.5.6.14... but you'll lose the video downloading capability. For videos, you'll need to supplant IDM & FlashGot with other 3rd party extensions, such as Ant, NetVideoHunter, Youtube-DLG, etc, etc... probably a bunch of...

Re: Request to look into Internet Download Manager add-on

Yea, that's why I gave up on them years ago. Instead, I use Internet Download Accelerator Pro with FlashGot 1.5.6.14. I will admit though, I really liked IDM better. I wasn't familiar with Internet Download Accelerator, so I took a look at it. It's not bad, has a lot of similarities to IDM, but als...
