Re: Website looks awful in basilisk

For the test, I applied only the main patch, but there are still changes in devtools and reftests that are necessary for completeness. I can try to arrange all this as PR a little later, when I have enough free time.

Re: Are there any addons that can filter and rewrite the DOM before it get rendered by the browser?

The extension itself has a fairly high performance, but the result depends on how well the filters you create are optimized, especially when using regular expressions.

Re: Website looks awful in basilisk

This site contains a syntax error in style declarations (a single quote is missed in the url for the 'truetype' format of the FontAwesome), due to which all subsequent styles are ignored: @font-face { font-family:'FontAwesome'; src:url('https://static.as.anw.net/font/fontawesome-webfont.eot?v=4.3.0'...

Re: How to install uBlock Origin in Pale Moon 27 [revised]

uBlock Origin is not affected.

This is indicated even in the mentioned article:
Il recommande l’utilisation de l’extension uBlock Origin, qui n’intègre par l’option « $rewrite ».

Re: Tobin's forum presence [poll]

My answer is no and that is why. You know that Tobin and I had critical communication issues, but in the end we got it sorted. Obviously, this happened because both sides wanted it, and not by any kind of external coercion or administrative measures. However, this does not prevent me from criticizin...

Re: BUG: Pale Moon misses mouseleave event after fullscreen exit

In my work environment, the problem described in the starting post is observed everywhere in Pale Moon, Basilisk, Firefox 66.0.2, ESR 60.6.1, ESR 52.9.0, 51.0a1 (2016-08-26) and 68.0a1 (2019-03-31) Here is my screencast made using Firefox 66.0.2 , so you can't be sure that your app will work proper...

And here is the confession:
Dear D1rs,

we have analysed in depth the attack from the "Green Hat Hackers" that
compromised the Devuan infrastructure in the last hours, and we
concluded that you all are:

IMHO, the joke turned out pretty stupid and disrespectful.

Re: Are there any addons that can filter and rewrite the DOM before it get rendered by the browser?

You need to properly deal with regular expressions:

Code: Select all

[["addons.palemoon.org",["/^\\/addon\\/modify-http-response\\/$/",["/<h1>[\\s\\S]+?Modify HTTP Response[\\s\\S]+?<\\/h1>/","<h1>TEST</h1>"]]]]

That's fine, the approach to creating such exceptions is really not quite obvious.

1. Open chrome://ublock0/content/dashboard.html in a new tab
2. Set the desired processing mode for chrome://ublock0 (Invert and Disabled both LGTM)

Take a look at Modify HTTP Response, it allows you to change any kind of http response as you like.

Are you sure that HTML filters are supported in uB0 legacy? I always thought it was not.

Re: Night Mode Addon compatible with 27+?

To work in the whitelist mode, you need to set the default processing method to “disabled” in the global preferences, and then enable the desired one for each specific site.
