Active content (or something else?) is no more loading

Unread post by mmerc24 » 2019-02-08, 11:19

Hello together! Are there any ideas why Pale Moon (checked a lot of versions (24 up to 28)) can not display 3D content anymore, example:

https://bbimg.alcar-wheels.com/configur ... 81&zoll=14

In Chrome etc. all works fine. :/

I can see a car and interact with it through a menu on the right side.
Version 28.3.1.
Have you tried running in safe mode?
Do you use any content-blocking extensions?

I can also interact with the car for the very same reasons you gave.

I'm running 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.3.1 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19.1 (Tessa) Xfce. The only extensions I use are NoSquint 2.2.2 and uBlock Origin 1.16.4.8 and UBO was enabled for that side. User agent is Firefox Compatibility mode.

Tested link with clean (no extensions) PM 28.3.1 and Basilisk 2018.12.18 (both 64-bit), didn't see any cars nor was there anything in the darkened box on the right side.

Looked at error messages the page's shoving into console, went to about:config and changed security.csp.enable to false. After that everything seems to load as expected. Saw the car and box on right has things on it.

Hey, thanks for your support first! Great!

I've tried to set security.csp.enable to false, but it does not work. The console error message:

Timestamp: 08.02.2019 14:42:11
Error: [...] uses invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

(Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER)

I can change the background image, but that's the extent of it.

SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER is normally caused by antivirus software intercepting your https web traffic. Disable any and all web filtering for Pale Moon and see if that fixes your problem.

The first error is gone, a new has come .... :/

I think it depends on the source code of the website owner/programer this time?

You are supposed to see a green hatchback car in the foreground. You should be able to turn it by dragging it.

I can't see the car nor on PM -unstable-clean. Strange, from five browsers I have installed on my PC only Firefox show me the car.

I also see no car and no menu on the right. Currently testing on my Linux Mint 18.3 install of PM 28.3.1. I also see some security-related issues in the browser console (see below). I have no antivirus installed on anything between me and my modem, so I don't believe that is the issue here.

Here's what I see in the browser console:

No car here. I get the same result as shown in the screenshot of cartel.
Tested with Pale Moon 28.3.1 x64 and Firefox ESR 60.5.0 x64 on Win7.
