OK, so going through the motions of registering creating a file, pulling/pushing their metadata tree and generally spending a lot of time trying to figure out what they want and how they want it, it seems F-Droid is something completely different: it's not a marketplace, it's not a catalog of installable software. It requires devs to supply metadata and instructions to build the applications on there from source on gitlab... That isn't going to work for Pale Moon - neither because of complexity and dependencies, nor because of the inability to have release-signed APKs.x-15a2 wrote:F-Droid is an installable catalogue of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform. Lots of popular apps found in !G Play are also in the F-Droid catalog, including AdBlock Plus, DuckDuckGo, FireFox, Orbot(Tor) and many others.Moonchild wrote:I already paid google to open a google play store account, so I'll publish there.
What's this f-droid?
