MSN news link crashes PM

I was at MSN.com reading news and then clicked on this link:

I also tried it in safe mode but it still crashes PM

I'm using 26.2.2 64bit

Can someone replicate this and find out why.

The page works OK for me running PM 26.2.2 64bit on MX-15 Fusion but it certainly gives my uBlockO extension (advanced mode) a thorough workout but no crashes!

Allowing the four main connections only to akamaized.net,aolcdn.net,s-msn.com and vidible.tv allows the page to render OK and I can watch the Ron Howard video without problem but uBlockO unwanted connections steadily keeps rising to upwards of 67.

In 26.2.2 64bit, on Windows 7, telling NoScript to 'Allow all this page' (has to be reloaded 4 times!), it loads perfectly well.

Just an update to my previous post on this!
I am currently on my Xubuntu 16.04 64bit box and using PM 26.3.1
After allowing content from akamaized.net,aolcdn.net,s-msn.com and vidible.tv which is normally blocked by uBlockO I do get an instant browser crash as soon as the page begins to render.
I have to remark that this is the first time I have ever had a crash using PM!
I will retest with MX-15 Fusion later this week when I have time to change boxes!

Unable to reproduce on Windows, at least, on a clean profile with nothing blocked.
(tested both x86 and x64 26.3.2 on W7 x64)

Thanks for that Moonchild but I did post for the benefit of the OP troypulk who does seem to have been active but not added anything to this thread which he started.
I can get the page concerned to render in Xubuntu 16.04 without crashing PM if I refuse any content from s-msn.com and I have rechecked with my MX-15 Fusion, which is a Debian Jessie based xfce distro, and curiously that, with the exact same profile, MX-15 does not crash with content from s-msn.com allowed.
Which goes to show that there are differences in xfce between linux distro's.
Perhaps troypulk will inform us of the distro he is using, if he is still interested!

It's "difficult" to fix something that has an unknown cause... we'd need to find out what causes this crash first, which means we'd need to know where in the code it crashes and how.
Unfortunately, crash debugging on Linux is not something I'm familiar with so I'll have to leave this part to our Linux folks to help with.

Doesn't crash for me on Linux Mint 17.3 Mate. Is it possible it could be an Xfce issue? I assume the OP uses Xfce based on his avatar.

If it is related to the video on that page, I was having intermittent crashes with some video websites and found 2 solutions. One was to uninstall gst-libav and the other was to compile palemoon using gstreamer0.10 instead of gstreamer-1.x set about:config "media.gstreamer.enabled" to false as mentioned in the next post.

EDIT: corrected solutions after I realized gstreamer0.10 was dropped in version 26.2.0.

My observation mirrors that of the OP; palemoon crashes every time the URL is visited. My testing was performed on an up-to-date Arch Linux Virtualbox install, using the palemoon binaries provided by http://linux.palemoon.org/download/mainline/, and with a fresh default profile.

EDIT: I created a Custom Buttons toolbar button to toggle Gstreamer on/off and thought I would share it. I'm using it so I can keep gst-libav installed without having to worry about Pale Moon crashing unexpectedly and be able to quickly enable Gstreamer for sites where it is needed and doesn't crash the browser, i.e. imgur gifv files.
