OVH Weathermap freezes Pale Moon (SOLVED)

Unread post by themew » 2016-05-28, 03:29

OVH Weathermap can be found here > https://weathermap.ovh.net

Pale Moon freezes upon loading and crashes the tab and/or browser.

Using Pale Moon Version: 26.2.2 (x64) with Manjaro Linux 16.06-rc2 (Daniella)

No issues using latest Firefox or Chromium.

Welcome to the forum!

You mean http://weathermap.ovh.net? Because the https doesn't load (for me).

The http version is blank, without errors in error console, but in browser console i get this:
[10:24:44.284] Content Security Policy: Die Seiteneinstellung blockte das Laden dieser Quelle: Ein Versuch Inline Scripte auszuführen, wurde geblockt @ http://weathermap.ovh.net/
[10:24:44.337] Content Security Policy: Die Seiteneinstellung blockte das Laden dieser Quelle: Ein Versuch Inline Scripte auszuführen, wurde geblockt @ http://weathermap.ovh.net/:218

So bad web design. Maybe Moonchild can say more.

https indeed isn't responsive, likely no https version exists.

As for the errors: Yes, if people use CSP headers, they have to do it properly. Pale Moon is fully CSP 1.0 compliant with some additional extensions of CSP1.1/2.0 implemented. If the policy is defined properly, Pale Moon will parse it according to spec.

As a temporary workaround you can disable CSP: in about:config, set security.csp.enable to false.

I should have noted the page is http rather than https... my error.
