My webpage (http://www.pcxt-micro.com) image of (silverghost.png (or silverghost.jpg, I have tried both versions)) works in PM in Windows 7, but will disappear immediately in PM in Ubuntu 14.04.
I have also tried PM in the safe mode in both O/S's, with the same results.
Any help or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

works fine here on PM 26.2.1, Linux, I can see it.
perhaps it is being blocked inadvertently by some extension you are running? (just a guess.)
i imagine you've tried the obvious Ctrl+R, etc., in Ubuntu PM.

Works just fine for me in Xubuntu 16.04 x64bit with PM 26.2.1 with uBlock and Encrypted Web extensions. Both on page and clicked to enlarge!

An update to my question ---- I have just performed a complete new install of Ubuntu 14.04 with all of the upgrades and Pale Moon.
Tried my webpage in Unity, Gnome fallback (Metacity, Compriz), with the result that the image of the motorcycle would appear, webpage would flicker and the image would disappear.
I then tried my webpage with the default browser that was included with Ubuntu 14.04 and would you believe that the bike image stayed!
Would there be a place in Pale Moon's "about:config" that would be causing this situation and if so, how do I rectify the situation?

Hello ...
My situation of the webpage image disappearing has been resolved ....
I was using Pale Moon v.25.x and there seems to have been a "glitch" in the program ....
I upgraded to the latest version (26.x) and the image is stable ...
