Plugins not working on 64 bit 25.8.0
25.8.0 doesn't see the plugins that 25.7.3 and earlier versions did. This appears to be because it's looking in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins rather than /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins as it used to.

I'm not seeing that problem here after just updating with the pminstaller on Xubuntu 14.04 64 bit, it's all working just fine.MichaelGordon wrote:25.8.0 doesn't see the plugins that 25.7.3 and earlier versions did. Mind you I don't have a /usr/lib64/ folder at all! All my plugins are in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
Re: Plugins not working on 64 bit 25.8.0
This is with the .tar.bz2 version on Scientific Linux 6.6 I'll give it a try with the installer version and see what happens.
Our config management system requires that programs to be installed are packaged up as RPMs, which is far easier to do if you start from a .tar.bz2 - just put it in the right place and run rpmbuild. We have a few hundred Linux boxes, so anything that can't be made to install overnight with no user intervention is a non-starter.

Re: Plugins not working on 64 bit 25.8.0
As I expected, the installer version fails in exactly the same way. 25.7.3 sees the plugins in /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins, 25.8.0 doesn't and claims there are no plugins installed.

Have you treid to symlink the lib64-folder into lib(32)? Works for me.

Can't reproduce on my or my wife's machines. As WIle suggested, have you tried symlinking?
Re: Plugins not working on 64 bit 25.8.0
Did not realise that the new version was available. Have now upgraded to version 25.8.0 in Xubuntu 14.04 and all seems to be fine. Like an earlier answer my plugins seem to be in /usr/lib//mozilla/plugins and that is where they were before. Unlike a previous answer I do have a /usr/lib64 folder but that does not contain any plugin folder, just a yagf folder which is to do with my scanner. Strange.
