HowTo: How to change the language

First you need to download this addon (don't be surprised it's the firefox addon site, but the addon works)
Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks

Rightclick on Add to Firefox and save it on your PC.
Then open the FossaMail addon page and drag the addon to it.
You get a info which tells you incompatibility but you can ignore this. Don't activate the compatibility check!

After that download your language from the mozilla thunderbird servers:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla ... win32/xpi/
and drag the file to your FossaMail addons.

Last but not least: Open the config editor (Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> see at bottom)
Search for general.useragent.locale and set this to your language. For example de-DE for german

Restart FossaMail. That's it.

After changing the language Do I need to leave it disable ? or enable ?

Actually, you want to NOT disable or ignore the compatibility warning, and instead download the correct language pack for FossaMail from the 24ESR branch, not the latest branch (which is FF27 based)

Hello Moonchild,

I just stared to use fossamail in the current version (24.5) and it works fine so far. Thanks for the good work.
I changed the language to German using the de.xpi from your link. The only flaw is, that the calendar does not change the language. So everything is German except lightning.
As I said, only a flaw, no real problem. However, is there a solution for this?
