Inside a language pack.. I assume you came across a missing string? Have you ran automatic updates for extensions?

No, I have done the Danish translations for the previous versions, and it seems that v25.4 needs additional translation. The language file is also marked as incomplete on the download page.
But I can't find the .dtd file anywhere :?

Here's the partially translated locale, I've spliced in as much pre-translated text from Firefox as possible for you.

Please proof and correct the Danish, and translate any English strings you find (excluding comments!).

Can the 2 *.properties files be edited with Notepad? In Notepad it seems that the translations are not seperated from the string in any way :?

Your problem is called Unix line endings and Notepad does not like them. Probably the easiest way how to deal with them is to use some other program (e.g. free Notepad++).
