[es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
[es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
I've found a few little issues in the es-AR [Español (Argentina) / Spanish (Argentina)] locale.
Firstly, I think I deleted the trailing space by mistake:
Secondly, there's some text in English in Pale Moon Sync:
Finally, text doesn't fit completely in the window:
If I find something more, I will report it here.
Best!

Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
- Yup, space was removed - I fixed that
- The text you see there is returned by the sync server, it is not part of the browser.
- You were a lot more wordy in your strings there You have to be careful about that!
I've adjusted the window size for it.
FTR: here's the commit so you can see how it's done

Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
Thank you so, so much, Moonchild.
I think we, the localizers, are almost over the deadline, aren't we? I'm asking you this because if I find some issue later, I'll be probably late, right? How many days we have before the string freeze?
Again, thank you so much for your instant efforts!

Sorry for doubleposting.
Because of my quasi obsession to remove the Firefox term outta the Pale Moon's strings, I did a stupid thing:
Moonchild, could you replace Pale Moon by Firefox in these 2 cases, please? My bad.

Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
Haha, oops XD
As for the deadline: I just need to make sure at this point that language packs are of "acceptable" level. The rest can be ironed out later.

Oh, great. Anyway, I'm gonna wait for the official release now. And, If I need to report something again, I'll ask you for the DTD files and eventually I will edit them manually with Notepad++ if needed‼ Ol' skool rulez!Moonchild wrote:As for the deadline: I just need to make sure at this point that language packs are of "acceptable" level. Now, seriously, thank you, man!

You can get the files or even edit them online on GitHub.

Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
Darn! Just realized about this. Goddamned trailing spaces…
BTW, this is in final Pale Moon 26, the one released some hours ago.

You won't believe, but I don't know how to. Seems a little hard to me.Moonchild wrote:You can get the files or even edit them online on GitHub.
Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
Create a github account first
Go the the repo https://github.com/MoonchildProductions ... calization
Easiest to find your problematic text is use search: Find the correct file, in this case obviously es-AR -> about.dtd Edit it on-line Create a commit title and description to attach to this change, and make a pull request.
Learn about pull requests first if you will so you know what it does.

Unicorn!
I'll try it later, better.
Now, thank you for taking your time grabbing, uploading & sharing these screenshots! Thank you for your patience and helping me out. This way I will bother you much less, by fixing strings by myself.

Moonchild,
So sorry for doubleposting and for bothering you again.
Now GitHub is working again, but when trying to edit a file, I get this popup advice:
On a branch, they say? Hey, as a Goanna supporter I'm on a branch already!
Now, seriously, do I need to ask you for some special permissions at GitHub or something?
Thank you once more!

Re: [es-AR] Localization test build (Win x86)
Updated the es-AR locale at GitHub. A few typos has been fixed.
