Adblocker Plus, no icon next to search-engine selector

Postby bawldiggle » Mon Jan 13, 2014 9:22 am

I have just installed "Adblocker Plus" via Tools > Addons (and restarted PM)

In Youtube tutorial Firefox Adblock Plus Addon: How to Block Ads a 10 minute tutorial.
At 2:20 mins an ADP icon is installed for very easy access to ADP settings and quick features.

But the ADP icon is not installed on PaleMoon.
I know ADP is added to PMs Tools (menu) ... but is there any way to add a quick access to "Adblocker Plus" ... eg, Bookmarks Toolbar
Current arrangement Tools > Adblock Plus > Options ... is rather clunky

Thank you :)

Isn't it at the bottom of the screen in the Status Bar? I've never seen it before in the navigation bar. If it's in the status bar, but you want it in the navigation bar, I think you might be able to drag it up there. You might have to first right-click the tool bar and select customize, then drag it (I think I read this somewhere on this forum). Anyone?

Note: In case you didn't know, ABP has a setting of "acceptable" ads that are whitelisted that you need to manually turn off, if you don't want these "acceptable" ads.

Thanks helloimustbegoing for your response, :)

You are right.. What does egg-on-my-face look like!
All I had to do was "look down" above the task bar.

SOLUTION: ... how I did it
To move the ADP icon next to search-engine selector
- is the StatusBar toolbar visible (above the Windows task-bar) ... ADP icon is "down there" on the bottom-left
- if the StatusBar toolbar is not visible ... Palemoon > MenuBar > View > Toolbars > [x] StatusBar
PM > MenuBar > RClick > Customize
StatusBar (just above the Win task-bar)
Click-drag ADP up to its new location next to search-engine selector

EDIT 12:26am
Fixed solution text, from "AddonsBar" to "StatusBar"

In Pale Moon, it's called the Status Bar, not the Addon Bar (just so you're not searching for the wrong name).

And egg-on-your-face looks hilarious! XD
