Bug with Palemoon Sync

Unread post by Dexmaster » 2014-07-29, 12:41

When I tried Resetting Services password on Palemoon Sync

I've got email with URL like: http://sync.palemoon.net/weave-password ... ame=blabla....

The problem is I get 404 error from it.

I manually changed protocol from http:// to https:// and it worked like a charm...

Also Sync Says it can't connect to server, so still some problems there...

Also, when I tried making a new account and everything today (as per the announcement) I got a sync error telling me password is not correct. What? I just created the account!

So for now I've unlinked my device, again. Way too many problems for me to bother with.

Never mind what I just said. Everything is working fine.

I'm still looking into getting a less clunky sync service running using php instead of gunicorn+python, if for nothing else but to leverage the vastly superior performance of nginx&php-fpm and preventing the corruption/scalability issues I've seen so far in Mozilla's sync implementation.
