Tests like that are often nothing more than benchmark tests - and are not really a valid comparison of what you encounter in a real-world test. At least nothing a normal user has to worry much. Even with the newest IE you have no big compatibility issues, so better not worrying too much about :D

This test is not a benchmark. This is actually using that capabilities detection thing (for javascript) that you should use instead of UA sniffing.

As expected you can see our capabilities match ESR24's.

The good news is.. We are evaluating Javascript enhancements for the future so that number will rise to match Firefox at some point in the future. Right now the majority of websites don't actually use many of the capabilities added since we split off so we have been leaving the engine largely alone as it is currently VERY stable. Of course in the near term we have larger fish to fry in the here and now but it hasn't been forgotten and in the mid term we will be getting back to the js engine.

Thank you for pointing this grid thing out though!

As a side note, Microsoft's current browser also barely supports ECMA 6 functions, with IE11 supporting 12 functions (less than Pale Moon).
