Socket disconnect

There was a feature in the browser 'Seamonkey' as found in the old Puppy linux v431 distro that was useful.

It was a 'plug and socket' near the pup-dial icon which let you block all traffic, and restart it with a click. I only appeared when a carrier was present, and I'm not sure if it was part of pup-dial or Seamonkey.

Anyway, it was very useful for quieting down busy (or nosy) sites / ad attempts, etc.

Is there a plugin or add-on which will work like this, without resorting to tweaking the firewall? Two clicks would not be too bad.

I use a custom firewall in WinXP to 'block all traffic', but it takes three clicks and some scrolling to toggle it.

That's perfect. Only a single mouse 'hold and release' to toggle it.
Off-topic:
I did find a nice extension that really quiets things down, named 'Bluhell'.

Available from the Add-ons Manager within PM.

It is a tiny (~ 30 K) firewall with seven hard coded rules supposedly defeating over 8,400 .com and .net domains. Haven't had to toggle it off yet!

Makes browsing a pleasure on this low spec machine.

Tested on the Linux version of PMoon.

It's button installs next to the download arrow.
