Ruby annotations support

Unread post by tibus » 2015-03-13, 19:31

Hey!
Would it be possible to support Ruby annotations natively?

Right now the only way to have it is to use an extension but most browsers have already at least some partial support.
I heard that Firefox was planning to finally support it and was wondering if Pale Moon would follow.
Thanks!

What would be a good starting point to know the complexity of implementation would be the relevant bugzilla bug numbers.

EDIT: actually, I just had a look at Firefox Nightly (39) that is supposed to have full ruby annotations support, but it is an absolute mess of things.

e.g., from http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/unicode- ... -ruby.html

Pale Moon with HTML ruby 7.2.0:

I know what I'd prefer :P

(even the foreign script seems to be formatted better as-is in Pale Moon)
