I knew this was gonna happen... Someone would complain because of a change of any kind. 8-)

Yes, it's the right icon. it was changed for 16x16 only, because other variants were unclear.

It's so much better than the old one, thanks!

Besides, it's a 16x16 icon, do you stare at it all day long? It's a shield and 3 letters, that's pretty good for 16x16. Also, it's open source, so you can create your own beautiful icon for your own use if indeed you do stare at it all day. If it's so ugly, I suggest that you request a refund.

I have the new ABL 3.0.2 icon on this desktop tower computer I'm using to type this message with. I also still have the ABL 3.0.1 icon on my backup tower computer (which I haven't turned on and used for quite awhile) since I haven't upgraded to 3.0.2 yet, but will after I'm through typing this message.

So, I turned on my second desktop tower to specifically look at the two icons in question. With my poor eyesight, I hardly notice the difference in the two icons. I have to actually get right up close to the monitor's screen to see the difference between the two icons since I sit about 42" away from my monitor.

Since the difference is so small pixel wise for me to see, speaking only for myself, I'm happy ABL works as intended and not concerned with a small difference in pixel size for the newer 3.0.2 icon.

It might be worth mentioning that the icon looks pretty bad on dark themes (at least for me anyway). Quite a lot of whitish pixels on the border where presumably it should be transparent in the anti-aliasing.

Also it doesn't look like it is scaled properly on my status bar for some reason as the text is blurred a bit (actually, might this be the cause of my issue in the first place? I don't know...).
