Hi,
Mozilla just released Mozilla Firefox ESR 24.8.1 which only includes the Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory 2014-73 patch. Will this MFSA 2014-73 be included in a very soon Pale Moon release since it's been tagged as Critical?
Thanks.

Re: Critical security patch launched on Firefox ESR
Thanks for the head up since I didn't know about it. Since Firefox 24.8.0 ESR (for now) is my back up browser to Pale Moon in both linux and Windows, I'll have to go and get the newest Firefox 24.8.1 ESR version as soon as l leave the here and install it on all four of my computers which means seven new installations for both Windows and linux.KNTRO wrote:Hi,

No auto update in Qiana? Or manual update at least? So, you have to install a full copy of Firefox ESR and overwrite the already installed version? Anyway, I think Texans have nice hispeed Internet connections, so downloading either full copies of Firefox ESR or just the update with the patch will take just a few seconds, won't it?Night Wing wrote:I'll have to go and get the newest Firefox 24.8.1 ESR version as soon as l leave the here and install it on all four of my computers which means seven new installations for both Windows and linux.
Best regards guys!

Off-topic:
The browsers I use in Mint (Qiana) are "not" installed. I run all of them by "extract & run" and launch them by their launcher icons. I just delete the older named browser folder and install the new browser version. I never overwrite. I've never run into any problems since I've been doing it this way. The one time I did use the internal updater, it gave me a problem.

Good article, dark_moon!
Even I'm not so techy, this article was pretty easy to understand and more detailed than the Mozilla's advisory.
Thanks for sharing it!
