Kind of acting like the search bar. It takes forever otherwise.

If you want to suggest something, please be specific.

I think I know what he wants, so I'll say for him :
he wants that one word search in the adress bar don't try to resolve a hostname and then launch a search if nothing, but instead just search that word.

This can already be achieved by changing an about:config option, don't remember which exactly.

That said, I don't think that changing the default behavior is a good idea.
