It would be nice if there was an option to show the bookmark bar when opening a new tab, but then hide it once you load a page. (the way chromium does it).
There are extensions that auto-hide the booknark bar, but i find that annoying because it pops up again once you move the cursor in its place, pushing the displayed content up and down.
An alternative solution would be to add a bar with bookmarks to the top of the quickdial page.
